Clinical Trials

The Victorian Cancer Trials Link (VCTL) is a searchable database of all cancer clinical trials being conducted in Victoria.  It can be used by patients, doctors and other health professionals.  To find a clinical trial that "matches" your specific diagnosis and treatment situation, go to www.cancervic.org.au/trials

Cancer Trials Australia (CTA) also keep a register of cancer clinical trials and the website can be searched on the basis of which trials are currently recruiting patients.  The website describes the list of clinical trials open for patient participation at Victorian hospitals who are members of CTA. This is updated on a monthly basis. Patients are advised to speak to their doctor in regard to any of the listed trials who may then contact the Victorian institution nominated in the searchable table on their website if appropriate.

Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry have a searchable listing of clinical trials.   The ANZCTR Advanced Search page allows detailed searching on key criteria specific to the type of cancer and the patient's circumstances.
