COSA Cancer Care Coordination Conference, 6 - 7 March 2012
'Towards New Horizons'
The Third Cancer Care Coordination Conference builds on the work presented at previous conferences and the exciting developments since March 2010. You will have the opportunity to actively participate in a variety of thought-provoking sessions, topics, and networking events.
The Conference will inform on best practice in areas that increasingly impact coordinated care, including sustainability of Coordinator roles into the future, the unique needs of the elderly patient, survivorship issues, and care coordination of adolescents and young adults. Guided by the expertise of leaders in these fields, attendees will learn from one another about improving and sustaining programs and the development of best practice approaches, including "tools of practice" in cancer care coordination with a focus, as always, on the patient and their carers. Attendees will also receive a thorough understanding of the progress that is being made with the COSA Cancer Care Coordinator Interest Group and how to maximise the benefits through participation.
