Grampians Region Model of Care 2011

In 2010, KPMG were commissioned jointly by Ballarat Health Services and Grampians Integrated Cancer Service to thoroughly research and design a model for how care could be better organised in the Grampians Region of Victoria.  The combined Federal and State Government funding for a regional integrated cancer centre in Ballarat has provided the impetus to re-examine how we deliver cancer care in our region, and areas in which improvements can be made.

The Final Report for the Model for Integrated Cancer Care in the Grampians Region has been possible only with the cooperation and dedication of the many health care staff who deliver cancer care in this region.  Many gave of their time and views which have contributed to the quality of this report.  Without their knowledge of "how it is", and their passion and commitment towards improving the lives of those with cancer, this report would fall short.
